Mend Smeg Repair Door Hinge

How can I repair the oven door hinge on my Smeg gas oven?

I have a Smeg gas oven and one of the door hinges has broken during cleaning. Of the two visible sections of the hinge, the bottom part has detached between the mechanism inthe side of the oven and the remaining 2 inches are still attached to the door. The longer, top part of the hinge is intact.

Alex I haven't got an answer to your belated question but our door has the same issue in our range cooker. We replaced the gasket and its worse. My husband says the hinges are knackered. Were your replacements a success?
