How can I fix my Smeg hob?

Two of the on/off and ignition taps siezed up. one loosened with much coaxing but the other is still not turning, and in trying too hard I broke thwe tap (Duh!). Anyone know where I can get a replacement tap and, crucially, how to de-sieze the turning mechanism?
