in car dvd player blows fuse?

I have a Matsui in-car 2 screen DVD player.
After trying to play a dvd, the cigarette lighter fuse just blows.
The fuse is correct at 10amp.
Is the dvd player faulty

How large are the screens? It is quite possible for 2 screens and a player to reach the 10A mark.
Have a look at the specifications page of the manual, specifically at the current ratings. If more than 10A the only thing you can do is uprate the fuse

I have found the instructions which says for 1 screen power consumption of 7W and 12W for 2 screens. Would I need to change the 10amp fuse for a 12 amp, and is it safe to do so?
