emerson pde 2725n portable dvd player car adapter fuse?

a 9 volt car adaptor will work for like 20 mins then it over heats the adaptor and the tv keep blinking low batt and then they turn off it is not worth the money cause it dose not work for long

3 amps. better to get the AC power from ebay (lcdpayless) use use an inverter

just hard wire it, its rated 9.5 volt dvd player but will handle up to 15vdc so you can get any cigarette lighter plug for it, it wont blow it.

My Emerson PDE 2725N is a 9.5 volt, 25 watt machine. The adaptors are very hard to find. We got one (just the part that plugs into the cigarette lighter) at Radio Shack about a year ago and the tech person there put it on the end of the existing cable & plug for us. However, our cable is too short which causes problems with it all the time. We tried to go back in tonight and get a new one, but they didn't have 9.5 volt anymore. We also checked at the super Walmart where we bought the dvd player two years ago. No one seems to have this adaptor. I wish you luck in finding one.

I do wonder if a 9 volt adaptor would suffice? Would that be close enough?!

I am trying to find out where I can buy the cord that plugs into your cig lighter for the Emerson Dvd PDE 2725N player, anyone know?

The fuse that came in my unit is a 3A 250V glass tube fuse. These are usually available at Radio Shack, Best Buy, or any store that sells auto equipment. As for the other parts... The fuse goes in first and next is a brass bucket with a spring. After that is a nickel nubber looking thing that pokes out past the threaded nut. If you can't find the parts most cell phone car adapters will work, but you may have to "transplant" the plug from the DVD player onto the cell phone cig jack. The important thing to know is the adapter for you cig lighter doesn't change the voltage. The player is a 12 volt native device. The adapter just lets you use a cig lighter in-lieu of wiring it into a fuse box.

You will need a spring and a fuse...the fuse size is F3A250V...I hope this helps
