With the filling loop removed on my 18 month old SABRE 24 combi the pressure gauge on the heating circuit continues to rise resulting in the relief valve starting to drip. After shutting the cold main supply to the bolier ( leaving me with no hot water ) the gauge stops rising.Iv'e been told there's a fault in the HEAT EXCHANGER (ie leak )can anyone confirm this or suggest other reason .thanks
keep losing hot water and heating cutting in and out please help

thats is generally the mechanical diverter valve broken, not the black actuator the brass body. there may also be a fault with the expansion vessel your better of replacing the boiler.. they are false economy.

hi i have also an 18month old sabre 24 and my presure gauge also keeps rising. i have removed the cold water pipe to eliminate that as the problem. so i also have been told that it is the heat exchanger that is faulty.
