hi,you can purchase a door catch of a ebay user called appliancehelp,i've just purchased a part from this supplier that my local repair shop wanted £80+ for,for less than £30 hope this help's steray

Get a piece of very thin strong wire wrap around a couple of dolly pegs (to prevent wire cutting in to fingers) hold in the 12 and 6 o clock position, slide the wire under the door catch keeping TENSION on the wire move both ends of the wire towards the door hinge end and outward at the same time, the door will open as the catch clears. replace the catch CHEAPER than the machine .catch £5-10 max MACHINE a couple of HUNDRED guess which one i prefer to PAY.
