Mend Optima XM Xm Power

Optima XM?

Due to a momentry power failure in our area my Optima alarm started to sound. It was soon rectified when I inserted my code. Does this indicate that the battery was not working as I have never changed it since new about 10years ago maybe longer, if so where can I obtain a new battery for this model.
