I have just moved into a flat & the Optima XM does not work?

Press reset twice and it should go back to day mode (green light) you will need a code..user code may be 0123 if this don't work press prog all lights will come on and enter 9999,attack led on. then press 8, press 1, enter new code 4 digits and you will hear a few beeps confirming acceptance of your new code...

check if there is a panic button fitted,if si,check if its been activated,(red button pressed down)if it has,turn the key that may be in it,if not,remove the screw and push button up,reassemble,and press reset on panel,have you been playing with the panel??trying to guess the pin,if you have it will have went into tamper mode,and the lights you mentioned will be lit,
