Hotpoint First Edition 1000 WM52?

The drum is dinted inwards and is catching on something when the washer spins. Do you have to lower the breeze block/weight when you first get your machine?The washer is second hand but looks brand new, I originally thought the person had washed something heavy like trainers but then I realised that the dints were inwards. Ive been told something has to be lowered??can you help?

the belt has come off my washing machine how do i replace it with a new one?

got one 2nd hand and doesn't fill with hot water at all, pipe not blocked, don't understand it. also doesn't click on to the spin cycle but that is less important as i can move it on manually. water seems to only fill on the softener area. and not the main wash or pre wash, not sure how to fix this also means i can't use a softener as it goes from there from the start. help help help. otherwise very lovley!

Water is leaking from front door whilst in operation - could it be the bearings and how do I mend it.

The seal around the front door has a hole in it and water is gushing out of the front of the machine when in washing mode - Acrylics.

you don't have to lower or take off the drum weights. do a search above for hotpoint and look for how to change the bearings it has been replied to many times
