Rayburn Boiler Noise?

I'm trying to find out why this oil fired Rayburn /Aga burner makes such a racket. Its a dual burner by Nu Way - one burner supplies the radiators, the other fires the cooker. The pump makes one hell of a whining noise - you can hear it all over the house. I've put a new pump in, no difference. Fuel is 28sec kerosene. gravity fed, 15mm pipe. Any comments, anyone?

Yes, the electric motor bearings can wear and scream loudly...usually following a leakage of kero through the oil pump seals.
When you fitted thenew oil pump...it will be a danfoss bfp20L3...did you remove the silver screw in the oil hose connection port? if you have a twin pipe system with a glass bowled tigerloop deaeriator outside, then leave the screw in.
if you have one oil feed pipe only, you MUST remove this screw otherwise the pump pressure will be in excess of 20 bar...ouch! this can very quickly melt the burner blast tubes.
An out-of-true motor to pump drive connector will also make a racket.
