Mend Nikon Coolpix 3200 Battery Turned Warning

how can i fix my nikon coolpix 3200 battery exhausted?

when camera turned on after a few seconds, warning battery exhausted appears. have checked battery setting and tried new batteries to no avail.can anyone help

I don't have the answer but I do have the same problem. The camera is about 4 years old and has been fine until recently. Now whenever I turn it on it displays the message 'WARNING!! BATTERY EXHAUSTED' and shuts down.
I have read a few reports with the asme problem with this camera, so it looks like a new camera.
