my 2004 van lights,wiprers and dash gauges have stopped working, indicators and side lihts work ok the dash works ok when ignition is first turned on but then goes blank after 30 secs ,horn and airbag work ok.the battery warning light is on too any ideas?
Some circuits on motor vehicles are not energised until the ignition switch is operated - the ignition switch turns on relays and these deliver the power.
If the relay that sends power to your lights, wipers and dash gauges has failed then your lights, wipers and dash gauges will not work.
This answer is pure guesswork - I have no connection with the motor trade. Others on here may know better. I'm sure some do.
