Rca 32 in tv turns on and then off for about 30 seconds then finally off?
I have a 32 in Rca that turned on in the middle of the night last evening and then turned off and on for 30 seconds. Finally it stayed off for 30 minutes to an hour. Then it started again. I am not sure what is going on but I'm pretty sure I can rule out ghost ;-). Anyone have any ideas/suggestions please let me know.
i'm not sure how to fix it but i'm sure the problem is in the circuitry behind the control buttons on the unit. i am sitting here with the same tv you have taken apart with the control button unit unplugged. the tv is staying on but i obviously can't change channels or anything. as soon as i plug the control unit back in the tv starts turning on and off again. i'm looking for this part online now, hence how i came across your post.
