astra van startting problems?

ive got a vauxhall astra van 1.7d with the vauxhall engine in it's an M reg i've changed the glow plugs,relays,alternator,had the battery checked,changed the fuel filter but it still takes alot of time to start

had the same problem tested every thing even all the fuel lines incase it was drawing air in bought a second hand fuel pump and it werent cheap there like rocking horse s*** to get hold off but it fixed the problem like a new van it was.

make sure amperage of battery is correct for astra 1.7 diesel,also have you got correct grade of engine oil in? could be starter motor fault or air entering fuel system.if all else fails may need timing checking/adjusting.
