Mend Victa VSX160 Replace Pull Cord

I have a victa vsx 160 how do you replace pull cord?

I have a Victa 2 stroke mulcher lawnmower vsx 160 but just can't seem to work out how to replace the pull cord. so that it retracks all the way back in. If you undo the bolt on the top that holds the pulley case it opens up to where the crank is thought that was not good Broke pull cords in both lawnmowers in one day they have the same setup. can you give me some advice. hoping to hear from you soon Lawn is growing

hi lyn all you need to do and this may sound simple but many people dont know this is to leave the starter on the mech and turn the starter pulley clock wise about 5 turns ( it is a bit hard because you are turning the engine over aswell) then tie a knot thred your new rope in from the pulley and back out the housing, put your starter handle on, when you let go of pulley rope should return best of luck jason
