Electrolux Ambassador III power head not working?

Isn't it AMAZING how crooked the Electrolux dealers are? For what is supposed to be the best made vacuum cleaner manufacturer, they sure do seem to have a vast supply of dishonest employees don't they? I've experienced similar issues with them lying, claiming that an ENTIRE machine needed to be replaced, when all that was needed was a $5 belt! Even though they are good vacuum cleaners, I certainly will never buy one again, due to the fact that the company is FULL OF LIARS.

Just had mine at the Aerus Electrolux dealer for the same issue and it turned out to be the "front collar contact" which had to be replaced. Total cost...about $40.

Just be careful that they don't try and stick you with the cost of a new motor which they tried to do with me.
