I bought a new cord for my phone as the old one was crackly and kept cutting people off. However the new one won't stay in. I thought I could maybe glue it in but I'm not sure if that would work.
It is possible that you might have bought the wrong cord. There are two different sizes of cords for the phone. One is for the back of the phone that goes to the jack and the other is for the handset only. Good luck
