Mend Kenmore Start Spin

My Kenmore 80 series dryer tryes to start but it won't it makes some buzz?

noise, at times it will spin but for a short while 5 minutes tops, after a while it does not do anything at all. I have no idea what the problem is, any ideas?!

Definitely the motor. Search "remove motor on Kenmore 80 dryer" for answers on how to get to the motor. It's pretty easy (i'm fixing my dryer today). NOTE: the bushings might need grease if it sometimes works and then shuts off. This will save you from replacing motor.

I have the same problem. I have been checking the internet for such problem, found many posts for this problem. All answers suggest the motor started to go bad. I haven't verified solution by replacing the motor or anybody verified it.
