Mend Locked Open Locking

fixing a pvc door thats locked shut?

My Pvc door is locked shut and will not open, the multi locking facility is probably broken. If its quite easy to fix, I could have a go. However, If its not and I welcome comments on this, then should I get a locksmith or a double glazing company to fix and what is likely cost...

to get the door off and access the locking system remove the hindge pins and ease the door out and then lift to clear the hook bolts the cylinder is held by one screw and only costs about £12 max if it is not the cylinder you will have to get a new mechanism it is very easy to fit just being held by screws
