Mend Matsui VP9608 Video Recorder Code

how can I fix my matsui vp 9608 video recorder?

My mother disconnected her video whilst away and on her return, the security lock has come on and she cannot find the manual. How do I input the security code that she thinks itis ?? Is there an over-ride if its the wring number ??
