How to unlock a Matsui VCR, model no:VX1107A?

Press channel up and record button together its gets rid of pin if u dont have a remote thanks tom! Mega happy xx

I have a Matsui VX1107A video recorder and have lost the remote. Can anyone tell me how to enter security code without remote

go to pin selection menu on the vcr press the up chanel button and the rec/otr
buttons together for 5 seconds,it worked for me.

Unplug mains for 30 minutes, then plug in again. Power on, and then PRESS CH UP & REC/QTR BUTTONS TOGETHER on your machine ~ (haven't tried it via the remote) Should then come up as "Pin OK" on the blue screen

I don't think it will give problems after that I've switched mine off and it comes back on fine with out need of pin But as yet I have not unplugged it again....As I figure if it ain't broke don't fix it

Unless you power off for 30 minutes, the buttons won't reset the video.

I entered my 4 digit pin code wrongly three times by mistake, and my Matsui VX1107A vcr screen went blue with the word Protected across the screen.
I'm pretty sure I unlocked it by switching the vcr off by pulling the plug out from the mains for a couple of hours, then put the plug back in, switched the vcr on with the remote then held the (up arrow and the record buttons) together at the same time for about 5 seconds, this action unlocked mines the screen comes up to give you another 3 attempts to get your pin right.

Not sure what to do if you don't have the pin number to revert it back to the factory settings.
And also don't think you have to leave the vcr unplugged for several hours, 30 mins should do if not leave for an hour.
