Mend Ford Mondeo Diesel Starting Problem Engine

02 diesel Mondeo wont start after stopping?

If i take my car on a run, stop the car then try to re-start it, it wont start. I need to leave it 20 - 30 mins then it starts first time. Any ideas what causing it?

Hi,

I have had the same problem. The garage recently changed the fuel filter and i changed out the hand pump. After that the car just will not go but once i do get it going it will remain fine until i leave it for half an hour then it wont start again. Its driving me mad!! I have tried changing the parts round I have made sure that there is no air in the system but somthing is not right. All i know is that it is fuel related. - Possibly a tear in the fuel line? I will have to check. Best of luck
