Mend Whirlpool LDR3822PQ1 Dryer Door Latch

How come dryer door does not close all the way?

I have a new portable "whirlpool LDR3822PQ1" 24 inch and i can not shut the door all the way. I have like a half inch to go before the door close all the way.

I use tap to keep it close and work ok other wise!

I changed the latch already!

Any ideas?

I don't know. I have the same model and it does the same thing. It still runs though, so I haven't tried to do anything about it.
