How to program partset on Veritas R8?

I have advantage intruder alarm that cannot programme the entry time. As soon as I set the exit time. And walk out the building Wait 30 seconds for it to arm.
And Entering the building. Go straight off into alarm state. I have tried programming the entrance time, for 30 seconds, same as the exit. Why can't I set the alarm.

you need to use the hall as your entry/exit zone one. You can set the character of the zone if its different. What is usual is

1 -entry/exit.
2 -inhibited entry.
3 -Guard.


To set, enter engineer mode, press 1 then the zone you want to use as the entry exit, for eg 1 then press for the type 1 then press prog. so in summary. ent eng code press 1,1,1 prog. this will set zone one as ent/ex with timer which is pre set to 30 seconds.

for info you should have one ent/exit area with the rest set to guard status to activate immediately on alarm condition
