2001 ford transit 2.5 check oil in gearbox?

Hey how do you check the oil in the gear box of this model?

Ford Ford Transit Vehicles, Vans 2001 Ford Gear

just behind the clutch slave cylinder on the side of the gearbox there is a alan key bung, remove the bung and if oil trickles out it is ok but if not you need to fill it thriugh that same hole with a tube or syringe till the oil trickles out of the hole.
