washing machine fills and drains but will not wash and spin what is wrong?
MY indesit 1263 w washing machine fills and drains but will not wash and spin unless the door is thumped and then the drum turns a few times before stopping again . Any ideas how to remedy this?
Suggest you replace the brushes on the motor, it is not a big job. if the brushes look ok ie not worn down to the copper wire your motor is probably faulty.
