how can I get the code for my house alarm as the last owners didnt leave it?

You need to reset your system back to factory settings!
To do this disconnect the mains power, remove your main panel front cover then remove the back up battery.
Reconnect the mains power. Before any sounds are heard from the keypad press RESET.
Once the keypad or panel starts to sound your alarm should be set to factory defaults.

disconnect the mains power and remove the backup batteries.
give it a minute and reinsert batteries/ restore power.
this should restore it to factory default.
this is normally something simple such as 0000 1111 ect.
