Protector System 400 Home alarm?

I've moved into a new house , the Protector System 400 is fitted but the previous tenant left no code or manual,
Any help to recode the alarm will be much appreciated.

i have just changed the batteries in all of my magnetic door contacts and now when i set the alarm. the one on the front door doesnt set off the alarm. worked ok prior to changing batteries.. the light comes on to say it has been activated. when you take the battery cover off without powering down, doesnt set the alarm off either..

Just been to look at one of these, the factory code is 1234,
you need to press the diagonal squares button, i think top right, then the factory code, then the diag button, then your new code, then the diag button to finish.

Very true gts :)

Fit good gear and you only back for service.

Lol Sunday we had a heated discussion as he now feels the need to offer all customers with older obsolete systems the choice of upgrading with discount.

Basically our panels we can't get spares for now will be replaced with castles euro or texecom crap. The galaxy's have to remain for obvious reasons but that would also include the scan's.

Over my dead body!!!, the scanny's will remain in service as long as their fit for purpose i'l tell you that pal.

He's my son but he's a fecking dick at times :D

Anyway moan over :)

Bought some good tools etc from BnQ over the years gts,me always and up buying something when I go for a wander around. :)

Me bought a very good reversible high viz fleece for when I go on site, good quality and my fav cheap :D

Sticking veritas compacts on a new build at the moment, budget wouldn't stretch to 9651's ,I'd rather loose the contract than fit that rubbish if i had my say,but it's not up to me now so me let him get on with it

Sorry Ron I've never heard of one and been in the security trade for many years.

I'm guessing it's a DIY system?.

Most of these diy wireless jobbies don't meet BS6707 regs.

Can't tell you how to restore back to factory 1234 for obvious reasons on here and I don't think you will find the manual either,so therefore I'd suggest ripping it out and fitting something good.
