Mend Hitachi C28W430N Turn Fault Red

why wont my hitachi c28w430n turn on?

My television has an irregular fault, sometimes it wont turn on. we have tried changing batteries, and fuse.

The red light always turns on and sometimes there is a brief white band that appears for a second or two down the middle of the tele and then it goes.

Other times the tele comes on with no problems. Any ideas anyone?

Hi.

It is probably caused by dry solder joints on the regulators or any multiple leg component which is bonded to a heat sink.
