How can I stop the noise from air in the water pipes?

Pipe clips to hold the pipes down. There shouldn't be any air in the pipe at all, what is probably happening is that the pressure in the pipes is causing the pipes to rattle (its called water hammer). More fixings on the pipes usually cures this. Good luck.
