every time i flush my toilet it makes a loud noise. It has been that way since summer of 2008, now when i turn off the water on the bath tub the same noise is happening.
Try turning the house water-stop-tap a little closed - half a turn at a time.
Sometimes the external mains pressure can increase (Suddenly last Summer) and when an internal tap or valve shuts, a pressure wave can run back along the pipes (like a wave in the bath tub) and cause them to vibrate.
