Mend Hot Water Slowly

Intermittent slow running bath hot tap?

Every now again the hot water tap on my bath runs very slowly, other times it is fine. At the same time as it runs slowly I usually get a horrendous noise from the pipes in the airing cupboard attached to the hot water tank. Neither of these happens all the time - just every now and again. It appears to only affect or be caused by the bath hot tap - all others seem fine. Any help appreciated

Nope no splutter just a very slow running tap, some times to the point where next to nothing comes out and we have to call off bath time. Then other days the tap runs absolutely fine. Happens probably once a week or so. Because its so intermittent I find it hard to diagnose. wondered if anyone knew of something similar?

sounds like you have air getting into the system causing and air lock does it splutter
