Optima XL4?

When my electricity was turned off my alarm sounded as expected but the wrong buttons were pressed to stop it and now the system is locked out.The power light is on and so are zones 1 & 2 .
What is the cause and how do I rectify it.

how do i undo the front cover of the control box

get a new battery, (12 volt 2.1)

The alarm will not reset with a fault.

or open the panel take off the battery. replace the cover power down the panel wait 30 sec,s power back up.

all the lights will come on. wait a few mins and then press the reset button. (you may find that the code is reset to 0123). to change it back to your code press prog 0123 8 new code xxxx reset reset hope this helped
