Mend Sony XR-C900RDS Dead Red Lights

How can I fix my Sony car stereo xr-c900rds?

The unit is dead with only a red LED which lights up when connected. The LED lamp is located behind the fascia panel.
Unit stopped working when I connected my minidisc changer up to it.
When I have this before it has worked fine. Can anyone help?

Mini disc players are not ment to be hooked up with this uinit thats why it blew out to get it fixed it will cost $250.00 i know mines did
