Thanks to Paddy.I have reset my phone per his instructions (2007), and there are no problems.Easier than trying to get a manual!!

Not a question, just a big THANK YOU. I tried to sort my phone out with the aid of the handbook but what I needed was just good clear instructions.

I have the same problem in that it flashes base 1 and i cant make nor receive calls.. I tried to follow your instructions to default settings however it doesnt allow me to click the menu button to confirm default settings. Any ideas?

My phones were flashing BASE 1 and after trying some of the above, I tried the old turn it off and on again (at the wall), which sorted it out beautifully.

The problem is I can't answer/make calls on the phone. There is a flashing message on screen that says: "sudio 1" and every time I try to make/answer a call it bleeps. The phone rings when a call is coming through but I just can't answer it!
If anyone can help that would be much appreciated.

Press and hold "R" to switch the handset off,then remove the batteries.
Press and hold "*" as you refit the batteries and wait until the display shows "Default".
Press "Menu" to confirm, after a few seconds the base will beep and the handset and base will reset to default.
