how do you get an oil boiler to restart?

if you ran out of oil two things may have happened
1 the oil filter which is encased in the glass holder in line on the oil supply pipe to boiler is now blocked with all debre from bottom of tank remove and replace,you must replace do not just remove it! when you get new filter get spare one
2 you have got air in the line and it will require primimg again this can be done at filter and on blead nipple on oil pump on side of burner
