Knowing how god dam awful the 307 multiplex electrical system is I would reboot the BSI & see what happens.
When was the last time this car was at a Peugeot dealer? Any idea if its running the lastest BSI & ECU softwear?

in theory any faults should record but sometimes a compoment can fail but still be within tolarence and can be tricky to find.the on board diagnostics cover most parts but some parts like fuses fuel pump and relays wont be so i would look there first ,without knowing the year and milage its hard to say

You tried rebooting the BSI unit?
Disconnect the battery negative lead for a couple of minutes, when you reconnect it wait at least a minute before opening the drivers door, should hear a bong sound, put the key in, turn it on so dash warning lights come on, wait for the airbag & ABS warning lights to go out & then try & start it.
