my hotpoint 6834 dishwasher is not taking in water - how can i fix this please

Hotpoint Hotpoint 6834 Kitchen Appliances, Dishwashers Dishwasher Water Hotpoint

It's probably the solenoid valve. I suggest an engineer takes a look.
