Mend Hoover tv630 Drum Belt Noise

My Hoover tv630 is rubbing loudley on rotation?

My Hoover tv630 is rubbing loudly on rotation. I tried taking the top off and spraying WD40 on the drum and belt but didnt do much good. The noise seems to be coming from the bottom of the unit, but I do not know how to access it. Please tell me how I can fix the problem

I have had the same problem, I have phoned an engineer. He advised that it was the front bearing has collasped and it is not worth fixing. My unit is 6 years old.
