how can i make my gilera dna go faster without de-restricting?

My dna is 50 stock to make it 70what i need to buy???

mine is quick ied say about 55-60 but is stupidly slow on acceleration, its revving to about 7000rpm before it moves whereas my mates runner pulls away at 3000, the guy that had it before me went to town on it, but im not sure what he did to rollers/clutch, however it has , 70 kit, endy exhaust, 21mm carb, racing air filter, power reed block, and its de restricted, im happy with it but it needs better acceleration, what have i got to do to clutch/rollers to make it better acc without loosing top end?, if you could be of any help that would be ace guys!

how can i make my gilera runner faster ? iv got a pm air filter and pm pie i also have a race clutch and a 21m carb and pm roller kit with a single ring piston and i only get 60 out of it and a racing reed bolck with bigger jets

hahaha, mines derestricted, race exaust modified to fit, custom carb reed, malossi 70 big bore, changed all the bearings. on normal unleaded tops at 72. 0-30 in about 1.5 - 2 secs.
kicks the sh** out of every other ped ive seen.

iv got a gilrea dna and its a slow heep of shit i alwas get over takin an when i go full throttel it dies i havent got a clu on how to make it faster i dnt even no if it is restrikded i need to make it go faster befor some1 over takes and goes in to me if ther is a cheap and easy way of doin that let me no pleas i do fix up bikes an all that so ill now wat u mean if u tell me bike parts to get thank u

ive got a dna 50 and i bought a leo vince exhaust for it and have had it derestricted and was only doing 37 so put my old one back on and does 50 i want it faster but if i put a 70 kit on it its only 2 stroke so may blow up x

Put a Sports Exhaust on lightweight rollers , malossi belt , new jets , NOS kit lol , or just put in a big boy bore kit up to 70-90CC

iv got a 70 bore kit and race modified exhaust,Power Reed 21 mill carb hevvy rollers 13g race air fillter and im getting 76 out of it :)

iv got a gilera dna 50 and mines got a modified exhaust and its fully de-restricted it does 57mph on a flat but im going to gte my pistons raised, put a 70cc kit on it and put a sports exhaust on it, also getting lighter rollers and the reed taken out i will let you know the outcome. im only doing this for acceloration and a faster top speed i want to do 80 lol

it will only do bwt 30mph+
mine derestrict and it does 50mph but its slow at the start but once the engine is warm it speeds up quick

a power reed lets more feul into the enigine which gives it more power
the best way to make any 2 stroke scooter go faster is to get ligthweigth rollers racing power reeds a bigger carb or jet up your standed carb and a sports exhuast by doing this to your scooter you should see a big differance

fit sport's exhaust and new jets to the carb the derestrict ure air filter thats the only way ure going to get it to go any faster mine does 56-60mph on flat and im not light so probs faster with some one skinny on it also put lighter rolers in the variator this shoul push the bhp from 3bhp(stock) to around 5.5 - 6 bhp im 16 and did it all my self so its not hard .

Very simple, your compression is low this needs to be fixed as the problem will only get worse, you will require new piston and rings to be fitted.

Take the reed out, that is wat i am about ot do now, i have a gilera dna 50, it dus 50mph, i have technigas exhaust lightweight rollers and it is like a slug on accelaration, n it annoys me, honestly try takin the reed out of the carb, u duno wat it looks like... it is a gold circle plate with holes in

a reed is wat controls the flow into the engine wen u open the throttle air is taken mixed with petrol and oil and then into the engine, there is a thin bit of metal that is a one way kind of valve air pushs it open and then if it trys to come back it closes it off, a power reed will be like a carbon fibre lite weight one. u need to derestict it as fully as u can

i cant offer a solution but i know wot u mean. i also own a gilera dna 50.but mine is deristricted and even that isnt fast enough as pulling away from junctions the acceleration is to slow.
