Mend Zanussi jetsystem 1000 Burning Rubber Smell

zanussi jetsystem 1000 - burning rubber smell?

I get a burning/rubber smell from the back of the machine - I think it is the belt. Does this make sense? ANy tips on replacing it - I can't see how to get it out i.e. no access panels!
I can't see any tensioner device either. Do I ned to turn the machine upside down?

The whole back half of the machine comes off. Don't turn it upside down! It's proply not a belt making that smell, but maybe.
