My Frigidaire washing machine model #GLET1031CS0 won't spin?

I have a Frigidaire stacked washing machine/dryer unit model #GLET1031CS0. The washing machine fills up and drains but will not spin at all and smell like burning rubber. What is wrong and how can I fix it?

Same problem, changed the belt, but a couple days later it happened again. We are not looking into changing the bearings.
