Mend Web Cam Not Pc

my web cam is not getting connected to pc?

the sofware for the cam has been installed and the cam is connected to the pc, but the pc is indicating that the cam is not connected. i believe the cam is spoiled and i want it to repair, but not able to open the parts of the cam. pl let me know about it.

have you tried to open all files in your c-drive where you have it or in your control panel then in to your camera setings.
only a surgeuston.

i have lost cd for mine and had to format computer. lost every think. hoping some one can help me where to get any down loads.
