how do i fix a tumble dryer?

have you checked the hose pipe/vent as it could be blocked. Mine wasting heating the other day and found my vent/hose pipe blocked with socks. Otherwise have you cleaned the filter if the filter is blocked/full then this too could make it blow cold air rather than hot. Or failing this it could be the thermostat but try the other two first before opting for the thermostat as a solution.
