You need to 'gingerley' unclip the interlocking teeth that are on the ring. Mine was crusted over a little. take care 'cos the replacement rubber I got didn't come with a spare one of these clips.
Once free can ease the seal off the rim at the front exposing the steel ring that grips the back of the rubber onto the drum.
You'll need a 7mm open ended spanner and a 7mm box spanner to loosen the ring and then the rubber will prise off.
Refitting is the reverse of this, making sure the rubber sits properly and tightening everything tightly.
It might help to take off the top of the washer. Undo the 3 7mm screws at the top at the back and slide out the chipboard top.
Hope this helps.
