I have exactly the same model Classixx 1000, and last week had the very same thing. It turned out to be the brushes needed replacing as they were worn out. I had feared it being something terminal, so I called out an engr, but he had the job done in less than 40 mins, and that was including a mug of tea.
I've changed brushes on previous machines and this was just as straightforward, coz I watched him and couldn't believe how simple it was. Disconnect power/drain hose and tip machine on its side. He removed the belt then unbolted the motor (just a couple of nuts/bolts and the brushes were the old-fashioned type). Good Luck!!
