Mend Vauxhall Vectra 2.5 V6 SRI Oil Filter

how can i fix my oil filter vauxhall vectra 2.5 v6 sri?

the oil filter on my vauxhall vectra 2.5 v6 sri is a cartridge type, the cylinder holding the cartridge is loose, how do i tighten, or repair this to stop oil spilling out everywhere

Hi,
use a strap wrench to tighten it. If your strap wrench is the chain type, wrap a rag around first to prevent damage. Don't forget, it doesn't need to be "gorillard", just nipped, and a bit for luck! It has a rubber sealing face.
