Mend Take Long Hot Water

Why does it take so long to get hot water?

I have to run my taps at full presure before i get hot water. i have a combi boiler, the presure and heat, (when it comes through) is great!

May be a faulty diaphragm in the diverter valve or if there are small pipes feeding the diverter these could be nearly blocked up.
