How can I fix my Vokera Compact 24 combi Boiler?

im pretty sure its the venturi in the fan, they need very very little amounts of dirt in them and the air pressure switch doesnt make contact and it wont fire until u take the casing off, but you should use a gas safe engineer for this work as its not a diy job!!!!!

AFAIK the differential air pressure switch seldom goes wrong. The flue venturi (that it connects to) needs to be quite clean to work properly, it gets encrusted with dirt during use. The venturi should be cleaned along with the fan and heat exchanger during a service. Download the pdf manual from vokera if you want to what the venturi is. I trust he did not leave without making sure that the combustion chamber was fume tight?.

I was told expansion vessels on Vokeras seldom fail, they just need re-charging during the service, you were unlucky if it actually broke.

I would suggest that you phone Vokera for the approved local man who knows the make and model well. He would probably have fixed it completely with a standard servicing for rather less. (Not suggesting your bloke was dishonest, just that someone who has fixed/serviced dozens of the model will know its quirks, and not get puzzled on your time).
