forgot my code for my sagem freeview itd62?

how do i fix or unlock my freeview box with me forgeting the code and i've lost the paper work

Thank-you ever so much. I have been fiddling around with my old Freeview box for days until I was given this Sagem ITD68GB box which has been unused for years. I set it up and then...horrors...NO PIN number!! So, THANK-YOU a hundred times over!!!!!

Somebody gave my neighbour a Sagen freeview box minus the code. He doesn't have the internet so I googled it and got this forum and guess what, Menu, Menu, Menu, Red button, Menu worked on his box too! Roy (my neighbour) sends his thanks and is enjoying his freeview tv!

Go onto installation on your menu and when it comes up for the pin request press the following:

MENU, MENU, RED BUTTON, MENU

Trust me it works my pin changed by itself for some weird reason and I tried the above and it does unlock it.

I had just about given up on my little set top box in the kitchen, it was my teenage sons till he got a new tv so obviously all paperwork was well thrown out, menu menu red menu, as obscure as it sounds worked straight off and allowed me to change the pin. Thanks a lot!

None of the codes that I've found have worked for me i.e. 1234, 0000, 0044 - but doing what Ronnie Moncur suggest has sorted the problem - IT WORKS!

It worked even better for me, instead of giving me the option of changing the passcode it went straight to the menu I was trying to get to :)

Bring up the PIN demand screen after selecting installation then enter Menu, Menu, red button, Menu - this will give you the opportunity to change your PIN - sorted.

if you go to the code screen and press- menu, menu, red button, menu you should be taken to a new set of options where you can change the user code and alter your channel lists. hope this helps
